My husband and I opted for this cruise because of the price and because last year I had an incredibly wonderful time on this ship with my girlfriend. This was my second cruise (both on the Ecstasy) and my husband's first.

We drove to Galveston from Houston, having spent the weekend there visiting a good friend (my previous cruisemate).

EMBARKATION: Considering the ship arrived late into port and our cruise was booked to capacity, this went pretty well. We parked at EZ Cruise parking and were shuttled to the port, which is only a few blocks away. We were checked in and had to wait a bit until the ship was ready for embarkation. Read more
