We were ready for a wonderful vacation and that's exactly what we experienced. It started right from the time we arrived at the peer and continued for the whole 13 days. What an experience we had a little bit of everything from snow on embankment day, some wind down the coast, hot sunny days and the Atlantic on the way back was as smooth as glass. The ship is beautiful. The public spaces feel warm and inviting. North Star was amazing and the bumper cars were the most fun I've had for a long time. Now I remember why kids LOVE them. Dynamic dining worked very well for us. We found the smaller dining rooms more to our liking and the food was good, well displayed and always hot. One evening in Chic it was a bit slow but the table of new friends we were sitting with were too busy having fun and sharing stories to really even notice. Momma Mia was amazing, stunning, WOW! Not sure what else to say really. Sonic Odessey was out of this world. Another WOW for us. Starwater was very different than I expected. While there didn't seem to be much continuity or story line, the music was good and the acrobatics really good. The whole staging of the program was outstanding. The solarium was top notch, the pools were awesome and aside from the usual chair hogs, there were usually lots of chairs available. Our stateroom was roomy, lots of storage and very functional. Loved the shower! Balcony was average but adequate and the chairs with footstools were comfy. Disembarkment was smooth as well. There was just some confusion with the buses that we're going directly to the airport but it was sorted out in a fairly timely manner. All in all a fabulous vacation but if you are expecting the same old cruise experience, this ship might not be for you as it is completely different and completely wonderful.

St. Maarten

We have been to St. Maarten a number of times and just enjoy walking into town and browsing the shops and markets. We always stop to see a shop owner that we know and then head for the beach right in Philipsburg. A bucket of beer, lounge chairs, umbrella and free wifi. What could be better

San Juan

We spent the day just walking around the old city taking pictures and enjoying

No the day on land. We walked up to the fort as well. What great views. It was fun to learn about some of the history of the island.
