This was our 3rd cruise on the inspiration, don't even ask how I ended up on the same boat 3 times in a row, lol. We arrived early for embarkation, we arrived around 10:30 and boarded around 11:00a.m. I made sure to pack my carry on's light since you have to wait until around 1:00pm before going to your cabin. As always the ship was clean and well cared for. Our cabin was nice & clean, but we were at the back of the ship and it was rough a few nights. And as usual there were lots of samples left for us (razors, shampoo, toothpaste etc).

My 9 yr old son did not use Camp Carnival this time around but our friends children went and loved it. The arcade was a favorite of the kids along with the pool slide. And the boys loved the airbrush tattoos that you could purchase on the lido deck!

We had a total of 40 sailing in our group and were all seated near each other in the Carnivale dining room, at the 8:15 seating. Our wait team were really nice, but I don't recall their names. But the food was good and plentiful! The breakfast buffet in the Brassier is great (you HAVE to try the omelettes, they are the BEST!), and the LIDO buffet of burgers & hot dogs is great for the kids. The kids also loved the pizzeria and ice cream. The sandwich shop makes awesome sandwiches so be sure to try one! We didn't use room service much, but it was good when we did.

Cabin Review

Decent size closet, luggage space under your bed, the beds are COMFY, way at the end of the ship, could feel every motion in this cabin, not good if you get seasick easily!
