My wife & I were worried about this cruise due to the poor reviews, but it turned out ok.

EMBARKATION: It was done with the minimum of fuss. We were on the ship within 15 minutes. THE SHIP: The Poesia looked superb even along side Queen Victoria. We were taken to our cabin the moment we stepped on board. The balcony cabin we had was on Deck 8, it was a nice size & was really comfortable, with good storage in the wardrobe. The bathroom was v.good, with luxurious dressing gowns hanging on the door. We then walked around the ship to explore the lounges & deck areas, all looked superb & very clean,I did think the lounges especially the Zebra would be over the top,but they weren't. Cannot fault the ship in any way.

ACTIVITIES: We didn't do many so hard to say , but the ones we did the 5 language problem came into effect. I tried to enter the darts on the pool deck, but it seemed to me that Italian was only used,I didn't know what was going on & missed out, possibly my fault for not asking. I went to a quiz with the 5 languages, with the questions going straight into another language, and with questionnaire having a heavy accent I missed 3 of the first 7 questions,so I gave up. I must say here that MSC do try their very best to make everything work, but the 5 languages is problem.
