My new husband and I took the MSC Poesia 7 day cruise out of Venice of the Eastern Med as part of our "around the world" honeymoon trip. The cruise itinerary included Venice, Bari, Greece, Turkey, and Croatia. We booked into a cabin category 11 (out of 12) because we wanted a nice cabin with a balcony. We carefully chose a cabin on the 11th deck at midship. We also choose MSC Poesia because it was a brand new ship - but more importantly we liked the itinerary. This is the first cruise I have ever been on, so I am speaking from a cruise line neutral, yet inherently subjective & naive, viewpoint.

I will break the review into what MSC Poesia did well, and what they need to fix before I would book again.
