We got on the ship easily but had to wait in a crowd for the lunch in the Windjammer to open. This was not a good first impression, as it would have been better to have us wait where we could sit, back at check-in.. And a note about getting onboard--you walk up a number of inclines to get inside the ship on Deck 4.. Anyone with mobility problems or who gets short of breath will have a hard time. Nothing was said about this so it was a surprise for people who were like that. I saw people in wheelchairs being allowed to get onboard straight from the pier onto Deck 1 with no inclines.

We had been on the ship over 5 years ago and the renovations to the Public Rooms are lovely. Our room however must have had the same mattress since opening day in the 1990's because it really sagged in the middle. Not comfortable for my husband, and looked bad to me..I also think they have cut back on room stewards -- asked ours for something and he directed me to call room service. That was a first for me. Some days our room would not be cleaned until the afternoon.

We had a relatively smooth sailing. Entertainment was great and they even had a few contemporary movies in the afternoon. The cruise staff was very friendly..

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

The Mattress in this room is sagging badly in the middle. My husband complained about it all the time. The rest of the room was OK, but if you have a lot of luggage there is not much space for storage if you plan to hang clothes. We liked the room configuration, but will not stay in this one again. There was also a sewer order in the bathroom most of the time.
