Sail Date: Sep 2014

Let me start by saying that it was just my husband and I that went on this cruise. You might be saying well why would you go on a Disney cruise without kids? Well, our kid is now 21 and has sailed with us before, but is in college, hence she can't go in September. This was our third cruise and all have been with Disney. The first two were on the Dream and were both four nights. SEVEN nights is so much better! We stayed in room 7022 which is considered category 7A which is an obstructed veranda. In our opinion there was nothing obstructive about it, it was beautiful. Our stateroom host Romain was wonderful and did a great job of keeping our room immaculate and perfect through out the cruise.

Our servers at dinner were nice, but my favorite will always be from the Disney Dreamm, Vladimir! We loved our days at SEA! From the beautiful morning walks on Deck 4, to the amazing sit down lunches at the Royal Court and sun bathing on the adult only deck 13 we found peace and quiet. We would shower in time to make the shows each night as well a quick picture courtesy of the professional photographers on board. We had second sitting dinner at 8:15 and had wonderful dinner friends to dine with each night. We would then venture off for a late night cocktail at one of the themed bars, trying to hit each one before the end of the cruise, BUT almost always stopped in at the TUBE to see the late night adult shows. Damian and Chris were the regular bartenders that week and they were a pleasure to talk to and spend time with! We met so many wonderful people that were also on a the cruise as a couple as well as the staff! We have been told that Disney's Fantasy has more adult only area's that many other cruise lines, but we will never know, as I don't see us doing any thing but Disney! We booked our next cruise before getting off and took advantage of the rebooking offers!

We also did the Downhill Mountain Jungle Trek while at St. Maarten and the trek was both fun, a great work out, and our guide Agnes was so sweet! My advice to first time cruisers, do Cabana's once, but definitely try the lunch sit down meal at whatever restaurant is featured that day.. simply amazing! The quick service on Deck 11 is just average. Also, the bbq meal at Castway Cay, is also just average. Had we to do over again, would have taken the quick ride back to eat on the boat! But Castway Cay is also very beautfiul. We took advantage of the 5K loop and did a great morning walk!
