We went on a Disney Cruise with our grandchildren, which was magical, so I tried hard not to compare this cruise to Disney. My husband and I went by ourselves on the Royal Caribbean! What a perfect cruise for couples! We stayed on deck 9, room 9580. We slept like a baby every night! Our room was quiet and away from the elevators and all the people! Our housekeeper, Roger was pleasant & personal! It was perfect! The obstructed view was not so obstructed, and I was able to sit in my window and see everything!

The entertainment was good, and the food was good too, it just lacked a variety of choices. It was disappointing to have to spend more money in order to get soda! However, we survived with lemonade & tea! You can pack your own soda, we did! The daily tips were only 12.00 a day per couple, and they CAN be taken off if you choose!

The private Island, Cococay was awesome, better than Disney! We saved money by buying our tickets to the water park (which was awesome) in Nassau at the Towers in Paradise Island. We took a ferry to Paradise Island, which was only 4.00 each, and worth the trip! You have to go through customs to get off the ship in Key West, and they go by your muster stations. We would have been the last off the ship, but discovered you can go through the line on the first calling. If you buy an excursion, you get to go to the front of the line. Riding the train in Key West was interesting. It's cheaper to buy excursions on land instead of on the boat. If you plan on taking your children on a cruise, I recommend Disney, or a ship with a water slide & more children activities! I loved this cruise! The Majesty was beautiful and clean!
