Sail Date: Mar 2014

This was the second time my wife and I traveled on the Century. In between our first trip in the late 1980s and our recent one, we've traveled on quite a few other ships from other cruise lines. So, while I cannot compare this to other Celebrity ships, I can compare it to Carnival, Princess, Holland-America and Disney (which is the best of the cruises we've taken).

The ship is relatively small compared to most other cruise ships. Some might like this intimacy, some might become bored because the number of ship activities is much more limited than with larger ships.

Food-wise, we were very impressed with the Century. The staff were EXTREMELY efficient--fast, attentive and professional. While I love the friendliness of the Disney ships, the Century surpasses it in elegance and style. The dining room is lovely and while there aren't as many dining options as big ships, we were very happy with the food quality and service. This is the best aspect of the ship.
