Beautiful room, but when you ask for a balcony room and they charge you for a balcony room, they should also include the fact that you may NOT have access to the balcony. We were assigned a room in the very front of the ship that had a solid glass window overlooking a beautiful balcony. Needless to say, we were very disappointed not having access AFTER requesting a balcony room. First ship I've ever been on that had a walk-in closet. Easy access to the safe. Lot's of storage. First ship that I've been on with a TUB!! Good size bathroom.

Dining Room: Beautiful but not much for quality of food. Small portions that I don't mind if it had quality. Had one meal in the Sombrero Lounge that will cost extra. Sadly enough, the food was just as bad for an additional $16 per meal. Ordered a Margarita on the rocks and it came with NO ice at the cost of $8 e. Not much ambience in this restaurant and was pretty empty for needing to make reservations that will cost you $5 Euro's if you cancel for any reason. This ship offers ONLY bottled water that will cost you. When you get your dessert, don't ask for a regular cup of coffee as it too will cost an additional fee. Two offerings of an appetizer, soup and salad. Again only two offerings of a main course. Not much of a variety. The Pizzeria was good but don't order Pizza on room service as this will cost you. The Buffet was good with lots of variety. If you require breakfast or lunch, get it from the Buffet as the dining room serves the exact same food with conservative portions.

Side Note: Our luggage didn't make it to the ship on the day of arrival, (Airline error). MSC offered to give us complimentary laundry services which we appreciated. Our luggage arrived 4 days later at a port which we were thankful for. My final billed indicated several charges for very expensive laundry services that we took advantage of on the second and third day of our cruise. After filing my complaint with the service desk, they indicated that the housekeeping department may have made the error but NOTHING could be done until all guests were attended to. (Thanks for NOTHING and paid the bill).

Cabin Review

Assigned to the front of the ship does NOT give you access to a beautiful balcony that you paid for.Otherwise, the room was great. Walk-in closet, large bathroom with a tub. flat screen tv, couch, comfortable bed. Low noise levels until other guests slam their doors at 6am.
