As it seems with almost every review we have researched through the years. there were mixed reviews of this ship. And as it has been on every single cruise we have taken where there were mixed reviews, we did not agree- and very much enjoyed our trip. That was the case with this cruise last week. We very much enjoyed a "smaller" ship (of course when it was built it was one of the larger ships- things just changed) It was easy to get around, had plenty of lounges to enjoy(really loved Roxy in the piano bar Anchors Away Lounge)

Although the entertainment was largely based on the RC "dancers and singers", they were actually very good with a lot of talent. The food was very good, and enjoyed most meals in the dining room.(Loved our waitres Georgia and her assistant Barana) We did go to Chops on our anniversary night, and that too was very good. The staff in every department were great, couteous, and friendly. We had the best (quietest) sleep I have EVER had on a cruise (15 cruises) I guess with cabin location and an older crowd that goes to bed earlier, not drinking and noisy! Yes they eliminated Lobster night, but I blame the gluttons who would eat 10-even 20 lobster tails just because they were free. So thank the overweight gluttons for losing us all lobster night! Is the ship slightly dated? yes. Did it bother us? No! Are the bathrooms smaller than the new ships? Yes. Could we live with it? yes. Book this cruise and go and have a good time.

Cabin Review

Great cabin location, away from the centrum where there is a lot of late night action and music. Was EXtremely quiet!)
