This is a tough call.  I've been on several cruises with the family. This cruise falls squarely in the category of, ÿou get what you pay for"."No matter what cruise line you choose, one thing is for certain, you cannot mess up a cruise to Key West and Cozumel but leave it to Carnival. For the money you are getting a bargain. This is a full 5 day 1,000 mile round trip of the western caribbean.Absolutely beautiful weather and the destinations are everything you would expect them to be.

It's not about the destination but the journey.

the Carnival Ecstasy has the worst food service i've ever had the displeasure of enduring. Not one seating or buffet opened on time during the 5 days. this resulted in very long lines for whatever scraps were left over on the buffet.seating was first come first serve for breakfast and lunch. so now it's time for the "get what you pay for"part. Breakfast & Lunch was like going to Walmart for Chinese buffet. I'm all about people watching, but i'm pretty sure some of these folk used their government issued EBT card to finance this cruise.
