Went on the Jewel of the Seas from Aug 3-10, 2013. The cabin was ok...great cabin attendant, otherwise, it would be nice to have some slightly upgraded amenities...maybe more than one tiny bar of soap for a week.

The biggest issue was the food...it was horrible ! I was served fish that was raw in the middle...asked for meat to be done "medium" and it was served well done. There was way too much salt and grease in everything....turkey sausages tasted like dog food...breakfast at the main dining room was uneatable. I complained...but that did not seem to do a whole lot. I was on a RCI cruise a number of years ago, and never remember the food being that bad !

If you have kids which were with me...the water slide is good, but has very limited hours.
