This was our second cruise, first on Carnival. We traveled with eleven people, one celebrating her 13th birthday.

Embarkation was pretty smooth, although they made such a big deal about taking care of the fun pass sign up pre-cruise and there was no special line for those that had completed the fun pass. Everyone stood in the same lines. But all in all, the process was pretty smooth.

We went to the Lido deck and got some lunch and then proceeded to our cabin around 2pm. Everything was in order there. The cabin was showing some wear as well as the ship itself. One of the elevators was out of order. The food on the Lido deck and in the Brassiere Lounge was the same, so don't make the mistake of standing in line at the Lounge, you can always go through the line on the Lido deck and then take your food into the A/C Lounge. The lines were much longer in the Lounge. Also that food was not that good, it would be better to eat in the Mardi Gras Dining room for lunch and even breakfast--food much better...or opt for the Deli. 24-Hr pizza was always a plus.
