My family surprised me for my birthday with a trip on the carnival fantasy. We drove to Charleston from Virginia the night before our cruise and stayed the night at the marriott about twenty minutes away from the port. We left our car at the hotel and we had no problems.

EMBARKATION- We boarded easily and with in 20 minutes (we had VIP embarkation)

OUR ROOM- We booked a balcony room for my grandparents, my 12 year old sister and myself. Our room was always clean and our steward always had a bucket of ice for us. We were so glad we booked the balcony. Read more
