We left NE Ohio on Sunday Oct. 24th and arrived in Ft. Lauderdale around noon. A quick taxi ride to the port, an easy and efficient check-in, and we were on the spectacular Solstice by 1:15 pm.

Overall, the cruise was enjoyable....but there were a few areas that could use some improving.
Food....it was excellent. We ate in the MDR each night, except for one visit to the Tuscan Grill. The service by Melisa and Igor was wonderful and all of the menu choices were wonderful. Let me start out by saying this was our very first cruise and we enjoyed it. We loved the ship (well most of it, later on that). We originally booked category 1C (not C1), but upgraded about a month before the cruise when the Aqua Class price dropped to about $110 more than what we paid for 1C.
