Great Cruise
"Being new to cruising, I went with Princess last year so decided to go with them again because we had such a great time last year. Another lovely ship, great destination and great all round service. We did miss..."Read More

I chose this cruise last Fall because of the ports, length of time in port, and the sailing date. I had sailed on the Crown Princess in 2019 and was happy with that experience. By the time we sailed much had changed. The Coronavirus was escalating slowly when we left Port Everglades so our major change was skipping Princess Cays and a revision to our itinerary. As far as the crew and ...

I chose this cruise for the itinerary. I was pleasantly surprised that only one of five ports had other ships in port, so the ports were not overcrowded. The ship's crew was warm, welcoming, and performed like a well-oiled machine. They were entertaining, caring, and made us feel special. We sailed in Club Class, which was stellar. The service was superb, the food was excellent, and we never ...

Embarkation: We arrived at Port Everglades, sometime around 10:30am, and they had not yet begun security screening in the terminal. There were probably 50 people ahead of us in line. Once they opened up, and went through the metal detectors, we went to the wine desk to pay the corkage on the extra bottles we were bringing on board. Simple math seemed problematic at first, but eventually ...

I want to first thank you for the most wonderful time. This was our first cruise since 1968. I was in the U.S. Air Force for over 28 years and in 1968 I was transferred from Greece to Italy. We went from Iraklion Crete to Pireaus Greece to Brindisi Italy. Which was great but nothing compared to this cruise. To start, the agents along the way were all terrific in their information and ...

Great anytime dining experience, the 'Vines' wine bar was a great way to socialize before dinner. Piazza entertainment each night while having a glass before dinner. Stateroom was clean and well kept by our able steward. The ports were all interesting in their own way, Dominica was still suffering the effects of a past hurricane, organization was lacking here. Movies under the Stars was a little ...

We went down on the 10 day To Barbados as a nice warm area there. We liked the time of year in January to escape the snows at home. Princess has good reviews and the cruise and food was great! We ate one night in the steak house and it was great and only cost an extra $28. Apiece and an excellent meal! All of the dinners in the main dining room were great every night! A good menu with a ...

Thirty eight years ago we boarded Royal Caribbeans Sun Viking for the first of 46 cruises.. On this January 16, 2020 we see the lights of Ft Lauderdale as we sail up the Stranahan channel on this warm Florida morning. The reality of the moment is here. We are now in our 80's and the rigors of travel have finally caught up. This is our " LAST CRUISE." We chose our favorite ship, Crown Princess. ...

Hubs and I travelled with two other couples, who are great friends of ours. Five of us are mid-60’s, the 6th mid-70’s, all very healthy and active. The one couple is elite status, the second is platinum (almost elite), and we are merely gold! Sure do wish Princess would recognize cruises on Carnival toward status! But, oh, well! Because we were with our elite friends, embarkation was simple, as we ...

A Christmas Holiday cruise to remember

My wife and I chose this cruise because we were looking to find a wider variety of age groups than we usually find when we cruise between holidays. The younger families and children add energy and excitement. Even if all you want to do is "people watch", that can be more fun and entertaining. This cruise offered some wonderful destinations for me to enjoy some of the more active things I like ...

My wife and I had a fabulous experience on the Crown Princess. The itinerary was amazing, visiting Princess Cays, Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Thomas and St. Kitts. The service on board, including our stateroom steward, the staff at the International Cafe and the staff in the Michelangelo Dinning Room was excellent. The food was amazing, although the food in the Salty Dog Gastropub was ...
