We took a taxi to Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay, about 25 mins from the port. It seemed like a long ride because of all the bumper-to-bumper traffic. The beach was very pretty, but definitely a bit crowded. There is good food and many bars to chose from. They serve you drinks on the beach, and they are very reasonably priced. We took a water taxi to Marigot bay. Hated it. Not much of a beach and once we were there, felt stuck. I thought I had done good research- but this is where the people in the port told us to go. I have been to St. Lucia three times and not ever really enjoyed it compared to other islands...what am I missing? ...
