Where to begin, Embarkation wow what an unorganized mess. This is your first impression of this cruise line and trust me it doesn't get much better. Upon arrival at the actual ship you stand in a warehouse style building waiting for the agent to check you in. Up the gangplank and onto the ship. I understand Freestyle cruising but we couldn't even get directed the correct direction to our cabin nor was there even an option of someone taking you to it.
The ship itself was nice and the rooms very average, could use a decorator for those. Service in the bars an on the pool deck was good. The food was really bad, even trying both the French and Italian surcharged restaurants and it didn't get any better. You know it's bad when we arrive at the airport and both of my children ages 11 and 16 commented that the sicken strips at the airport were the best food they had all week. As for my husband and I we had one good meal which was a steak in the main dining room. The ports of call were very wonderful and this is the only thing that made this trip worthwhile.
Warning...If you do not take the shore excursions with the ship you will be tendered whenever they feel like it. Luckily our tour in Cayman waited for us, unlike another couple who lost their dive trip because of the slow tendering. It took an hour of waiting to get off that ship and we had tender numbers 5-9 very sad! The staff is good and the Kids Club is excellent.
