We just got back from our 12 day Holy Land cruise aboard the beautiful Celebrity Silhouette. We chose this cruise because of the 4 day stop in Israel and we certainly were not disappointed! The decor of the ship is beautiful, the service was exceptional, the food was very good, and overall Celebrity has proven again to be our favorite of the 5 cruise lines we've experienced. Embarkation and disembarkation were very efficient. We stayed in an indoor cabin and it was adequate. It would be nice if the closet and the bathroom faucet were constructed a little differently.

We ate in the main dining room and the Oceanview cafe and found the food choices very good. Our waiter Wilmer and assistant waiter "Tiger" were the best and one of the highlights of our cruise. We also tried Bistro on 5 once and the crepes were delicious. Also ate at Aqua Spa cafe and like the healthy food choices. We did not eat at any of the Specialty Restaurants.

We attended most of the shows--some were better than others. The ship's singers and dancers and their orchestra does a great job. We especially enjoyed the Aquapella singers, the flutest, and the acrobatic stunts, especially the amazing girl that performs on a rope. The captain we had at the first of the cruise (they changed mid-cruise)was a comedy act himself--he was great!
