Bermuda 8/21/11 - With Irene

Sail Date: August 2011
Destination: Bermuda
Embarkation: Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Cape Liberty : Great Port. I was on the ship within one hour of being dropped off.

Summit Ship : Very classy ship. VERY clean and well cared for.

Crew : Fantastic. They were very polite and sincere. They take pride in what they do. Very strong officer presence throughout the ship.

Food : The dinning room was excellent. The buffet was could use some improvements. The operating hours should open earlier and close later. Several times throughout the cruise the ice machine and drinks were often empty.

Service : The cabin stewards kept up with the room as expected. The dinning room service was above and beyond what I have experienced in past cruises.

Kids : My kids opted not to use the kid activities but they appeared to be very nice.

Port of Bermuda (Kings Wharf) : Bermuda is wonderful. Very clean, safe, friendly and easy to great around. Would go back for a 3rd time.

Sea Days : Despite hurricane Irene, the sea days were nice. More Seemed to plenty of activities and shows throughout the day to keep everyone busy. Less

Port and Shore Excursions

Kings Wharf is very nice. Easy to get around and safe. There isn't much to do at the dock yard but if you jump on the ferry or the bus you are not far away from the beaches, lighthouse, Hamilton etc.
