The Summit is old school elegant but shows her age at every glance. We stayed in room 9073 and paid for the Concierge Class. The towels are not large...the holes in the drapes were from age...the outside veranda small and marked with rust areas and the flooring with burns. Each nite at 5pm we got 4 pinkie sized crackers with a dot of something on each....after the first nite we never saw our bath mat again...the bathroom tile and shower show lots of age...we were not aware but cabin 9073 and the one adjacent has the ships painting ladder there for your viewing 24/7. The morning in room breakfast was excellent. The food throughout the ship was excellent. The pool lounge chairs were taken all the time and pool boys did nothing. The shows were good...transportation in Bermuda by boat is a 3 minute walk and very cheap. The Captain of the Summit was the most client involved officier we experienced in 12 cruises. The wine steward was the highlight of the dinning room...service by others was also excellent. The Hurricane hit the U.S. while we were in Bermuda and Celebrity wisely took no chance and kept us 300 miles west of the storm and it added an xtra day to the cruise at their cost! We have done 4 other lines and the Concierge extra cost was not worth it. The staff was always professional...The Summit needs a respite to regain her elegance...
