In reading the reviews for the Norwegian Sky, I have to admit that what was negatively written was just that, negative. From the time that we arrived at the cruise port in Miami (12:30p) on Friday, everything went quick and without any issues at all. The ship was said to be on a small scale, the ship is huge to hold only 2000 people. There was sufficient room in every area of the ship, the ship was immaculate as it was cleaned daily and all day. The stateroom that we stayed in was an interior and even though it was small, it served the purpose of the cruise (to sleep, shower, and change clothes). Our stateroom staff person was awesome as well and made sure that we wanted for nothing. Every day and night the ships activities were very well planned and allowed for everyone of all ages to be entertained.  The food, where to begin, no matter what you liked, it was available and served. If you were a vegetarian, plenty to be served, if you didn't eat pork, you also had plenty of other options. The ship never allowed us to encounter a dull or unexcited moment.  The day in Nassau was very event as well as we had a tour guide by the name of Hubert who was excellent who showed us the good side of Nassau as well as the bad (this is what we always like to see how the good and bad live), he took us to a Rum Cake Factory (wonderful cake & everyone that went there came out with a Rum Cake) and even went shopping and came home with a case of the wonderful Bohemian Punch. Great Stirrup Cay was great as well as they provided the cruise ship with a bar-b-q, music, entertainment, etc. while on the island. So, if this is going to be your first cruise as it was ours, read the reviews but do as we did and book based on what you are looking for in cruise and make your own determinations upon arrival and departure. Our decision that we like what Norwegian has to offer and will make additional cruises with them, this is not to say that we will not try other cruise lines, but for a first one, it was wonderful and fun-filled.

Cabin Review

Although the cabin was small in size for a inside stateroom, it was definitely wasn't unbearable to stay in as we has sufficient room to move about the stateroom (1 person at a time of course).
