We took our first ever cruise in March 2011 on the Norweigan Sky and loved it. We travelled with a 6 month old baby and all the staff were so helpful and friendly, they made it really easy for us. The only negative point is that we had to pay for her to board the ship but she was not allowed to use any of the pools as she is still in nappies, and did not eat any of the food as she is not yet weaned!
Our room was at the back of the ship and had a balcony. The view of the sunset leaving Miami was amazing and I would definatly have a cabin at the back again.
The excursions were expensive, we did the semi submersible in Nassau which cost $140 and hired a sunbed canopy and 1 snorkel set on Great Stirrup Cay which cost $60! A charge is levied to you for tips per day per person on top of anything you may give, so this works out expensive to.
Great cabin, had a curtain we could close to help baby sleep in travel cot. Not much room left when travel cot up but expected this. Balcony big and offered great views.
Very quite room, a little noise from the hallway but as we were at the end of the ship found not many people passed by.
