We chose this cruise because the ship was travelling to Hawaii but we also had the opportunity of spending Christmas and New Year's Eve at sea! Plus we had arranged to renew our vows for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and our 2 adult children joined us. From the time we arrived at the Los Angeles port the whole process and experience was AMAZING! We decided within the first couple of hours from just exploring the ship that we did not want to get off. There was just so much on offer and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Everything just ran so smoothly. The highlights were definitely being remarried by the Captain himself (absolutely can see why the rest of the crew are so wonderful with him as their leader) and in my 21 year old daughter's words "BEST NEW YEAR'S EVER". Our cabins were fantastic - balcony on 12th deck only one flight from the pool deck - Mermaid's Cove. The bar staff remembered the regulars by name - very impressive. We visited just about every restaurant, including the specialty ones, and the choices were incredible. Totally recommend the beverage package as it included everything including coffee - best part about the International Cafe was the Iced Americano - I was in heaven! We would thoroughly recommend Princess cruises to everyone (and having been on some of the competitors Princess wins hands down in our eyes). Just want to finish by saying thank you thank you thank you our trip of a lifetime was made so special by your wonderful ship and crew.

Balcony

Cabin BF

So roomy and comfy plus having a balcony cabin with kids in room next door meant we could join up outside in the sun for drinks before dinner and just watch the sun set - amazing views

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

Stayed at Crown Plaza prior to departure didnt see much around the area and had to travel quite a distance to get to a large shopping mall (taxi)

Honolulu

Love Honolulu - walked from ship dock into Ala Moana was pleasant walk. We have been to Honolulu several times and have done all the sightseeing tours previously.

Maui

We would move to Maui tomorrow - absolutely beautiful island and so many different aspects depending on which side you go to.

Kauai

loved the tour and the guides - amazing to learn of so many movies and shows being made on this one small island1

Hilo

Free shuttle from dock into main shopping area - great bargain store Ross's (Dress for Less) hope they open in Australia some time.
