We cruise a lot and were anxious to try Vikings new ocean vessels. We do not sail on their river boats. This ship and the crew are over and above wonderful. Embarkation was a breeze, everything was done on a handheld device from taking your photos to swiping your credit card. There are plenty of "living rooms" so even though the ship was full, we never felt crowded. The dress code is casual so no jacket required. We did see a few men wear them from time to time, including my husband. We did find it a bit too casual as men were in the diningroom at night in shorts. We mentioned it to staff and they said they are working on it.

The cabins are the most beautiful and comfortable we have been on in a very long time. Light tones so they feel bright and airy. The bathroom floor is heated!! There is plenty of storage in the bathroom too.

The show room was done very well and good views. During the day, 2 parts are partitioned off and one shows TED talks and the other destination videos or movies. The lectures were very good and we always looked forward to them.

Cabin Review

This suite had more than enough room. There were wood floors except in the bed area and the furniture light and airy. The bathroom floor is heated! It can be turned off if you find it doesn't suit you. The biggest draw back is the size of the closet. It was fine for 2 weeks but if they are going to do a world cruise, you are going to be pressed for space.
