Our cruising experience was badly marred by difficulties finding our way around. Our cabin was on deck four and not accessible from all lifts to deck four. We still can't figure out why not. There are 3 lifts. When waiting it is clear what deck you are on but not which lift (Forward, mid or aft) nor which direction to go ( forward or aft). The restaurant & bars have names which do not always indicate what syle they are. Clever, snazzy names but meaningless. Getting around was always an unpleasant, disorienting experience for us
Eating and drinking was pretty good, in some cases truly excellent. We had a restaurant and drinks package that was well worth the extra. It included 3 speciality resto visits plus comprehensive good quality drinks menu including some delightful surprises.
Once we found it he cabin was fine, not big but more than adequate, quiet and peaceful, close to waterline so quite stable in rough seas.
Adequate for 2. Well-fitted bathroom & shower. Plenty of hanging space, safe for valuables. A/C effective & quiet. Bed large & comfortable. Steward very efficient.
Shore excursion visited tourist shopping centres & beaches apart from hugely expensive extra activities & visits. Only Honduras offered the possiblity of a wander around a proper town to see how local people live. Unless you want one of the very special excursions or activities it is far better value to make your own arrangements when you land.
Walked through town in Honduras. Got a good sense of how people live. Called into an excellent pharmacy
Got a good deal on a buggy for 2 hours; Apart from driving about there's not much to do beyond drinking & sitting on a beach
New shops and bars and sandy beach. Zip wire. Nice place, but not fascinating or foreign
