We chose Norwegian because they offered the free drink package. It was definitely a positive for us. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smooth. She ship was beautiful, our cabin (balcony) met our expectations. Food was fabulous. The crew were all extremely friendly and helpful. We played bingo, watched the comedy shows, and spent time in the casino. We had previously been to all of the ports except Belize, which actually ended up being a port off of Belize owned by Norwegian Cruise line. The beach was absolutely beautiful and we were able to make purchases using our Norwegian card instead of carrying cash. We also took a trip to the main land and took a tour which was extremely informative and we found the people of Belize to be very proud and friendly people.

The day we arrived on the ship was our 35th anniversary and there was a gift card in the room to redeem a cake at dinner that night. The sixth day on the cruise was my birthday and when we returned to the room, there was a birthday card and a delicious cupcake awaiting. We didn't have children with us, however, we noticed kids involved in activities at different times and they seemed to be having a wonderful time. This was our first cruise with Norwegian and we had previously taken 4 cruise with Carnival. Over all,, we would recommend Norwegian Cruise Line to others

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BD

The cabin was small but that's what we expected with the room we chose. However, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony was amazing and we will only cruise in the future with a balcony room or higher.

Port Reviews

New Orleans

this was the second cruise we took that left from New Orleans and we very much enjoyed boarding there. It was much less waiting and less confusion at this port. We arrived a few days early to spend a little time exploring this city and found it amazing.

Cozumel

We simply took a cab and had the cab driver take us to the beach. It was beautiful and very inexpensive. Fabulous time

Harvest Caye

This is a privately owned island off of Belize. The island was beautiful and it was very nice to use our ship card to pay for items on the island without carrying a ton of cash. We also took an excursion by boat to Belize itself. We boarded a bus that was air conditioned and the tour guide was very informative about the history and lifestyle/culture of Belize. We injoyed this very much and would highly recommend doing this

Costa Maya

This was the second time in Costa Maya and our very favorite port of all. We went to the beach which was free, drank 1 dollar beers, and got a free welcome drink (I drank a Pinia Colada). The people in Costa Maya are very friendly and layed back. I got a 1 hour massage on the beach for 20 dollars which was my favorite part of the day. There is always a nice breeze on the beach and there is also free wifi if you want to use you phone to communicate with anybody back home. This was also an excellent place to purchase souveniers and gifts to bring back home.
