Honestly, the reason I went on this particular trip was because I tagged along with a friend who was going on this cruise. Three of us shared a balcony stateroom and there was plenty of room, as long as we coordinated our movements. We visited St Maarten, Antigua, and Bonaire and I went on horseback and snorkeling excursions, both booked through the Regal Princess. As a single woman I felt very comfortable roaming the ship at all hours. My fellow passengers were very welcoming and invited me to join them in the trivia games (we won 4 times!). The shows were great and I very much admired the singer's and dancer's abilities. And the casino was a fun place to spend a few hours between activities, Great job by the Regal's entertainment staff, all the chefs, and our room steward, Junior. I hope to travel again to see more islands in the future. Written by Ms. Marius on Cruise Critic
I'm not sure of the cabin category but we had a balcony with an unobstructed view, containing two twin beds and a pull-out love seat. I slept on the pull-out and found it to be more comfortable than the bed. There was plenty of room in the drawers for the clothing of three women and we were all able to hang up our things in the closets. We did have to take turns stepping aside as we moved around the cabin getting ready in the morning, but I didn't spend much time in the cabin so that was okay. I did spend a fair amount of time reading on the balcony when it wasn't raining.
My friend and I were a little nervous passing through the crowd of aggressive taxi drivers waiting as the passengers disembarked. We only walked around the marketplace near the pier, then headed back on-board.
Embarking was quick and we only had to wait a few minutes before boarding the ship. Getting on-board the Regal was much better than on either of my two previous cruises.
