Cabin: Deluxe Balcony

Myself and DH have cruised several times before both on Princess and Royal Caribbean (once on costa unfortunately) . We tend to favour the larger RC ships and enjoyed our time on Quantum last year. We chose Royal Princess this time for the itinerary and price.

Pre Cruise: Stayed for two nights in the Seminole Hard Rock. Great Hotel. Loved it.

Embarkation: Not great. Very Slow and disorganised. Once the line started moving it moved fairly quickly but I would say from arrival at port to getting in to our Cabin took 2 hours, however we did find out that US customs had instructed all crew to leave the ship for an inspection, that said a couple of princess staff informing people and organising the queue would have been sensible and appreciated as people were losing their patience.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin D4

Aft Balcony. Cabin was fine, no problems. There was a minor amount of soot on occasion on our balcony, this was cleared quickly upon request. This cabin has a partially covered extra large balcony which we loved and took full advantage of, but being at the aft of the ship, as expected, we did experience slightly more "motion of the ocean" on occasion than we have when we have been mid ship.

I would book this cabin again.
