Serenade of the Seas #1100
Last Drydock 2012
This review is for two cruises:
Nice wide room, and huge balcony that wrapped around the side of the ship. Drawers were deep enough to hold our packing envelopes and cubes. Wonderful walk in closet. One of the drawers kept sliding in and out during rough seas. Our cabin steward rigged it by jamming a towel inside.
Nice assortment of toiletries.
NOT MILD!
Lunch was about a block from the Maritime Museum. Not bad unless you have mobility issues, which I did.
Peggy's Cove is beautiful and must see.
Very interesting drive! Got to see the Bush Mansions! Lunch was on us!
Get the excursion w/ the cruise. Definitely a plus!
NOT MILD
Incorrect activity in description. It's more like 1 1/2 miles than 1/4 mile listed.
Nice overview of city.
Great lobster lunch! Dessert wasn't very good.
Great music! Oatcakes similar to our Texas Parade Oatmeal Cookies.
Country Side Tour - Lots to see, and loved the visit to the sugar shack where we purchased maple turndown chocolates for our cruise as well as maple syrup for breakfast on the ship.
