This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise. 13 of us travelled, in 5 staterooms. The boarding process was smooth and I found most employees to be pleasant.

I was quite pleased with the cleanliness of the public areas, as well as in the stateroom. Although the rooms were small, there was ample storage for clothing and luggage. One area that could be improved upon was the bedding. Because the king sized bed consists of two twin beds pushed together, there was a dip in the middle that was sometimes uncomfortable.

Dining on the Grandeur was a pleasant surprise. The food at the Windjammer buffet was very tasty and there was a nice variety. We ate at the main dining room, Great Gatsby several times and were never disappointed. There was always a nice selection of entrees, appetizers and salads, in addition to their classics menu which was the same each night. The service was impeccable. Robin and Igor were our servers and they were attentive to our needs without being bothersome. I especially appreciated the attention that they gave to the three children in our group. My husband and I also dined at Chops Grille and it far exceeded our expectations! The mushroom soup was phenomenal! My filet was perfectly cooked and tender as can be. I'd highly recommend treating yourself to a night at Chops.

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G2

The room was small but there as room for luggage storage and space to put clothing. Everything was clean and nicely decorated.
