We booked this Scandinavian Cruise in Dec 2014 before Magellan was launched with Cruise & Maritime. I had read some truly shocking reviews and was very apprehensive. We need not have worried as had nothing to personally to complain about on the ship.

We have been with P & O many times previously so expected our car and luggage to be taken same as Southampton. So was a bit of a surprise when it doesn't work like that at Tilbury. You have to go to a car park and get a complimentary bus back with your luggage. This was not a problem but be aware if you have been with other cruise lines before that it is different.

Cabin 4117. Low mid ship. Very nice room, spotlessly clean. It does have an engine noise constantly, but we both like that so was not a problem for us. Read more
