Having read all the negative reviews about Britannia I just had to give my opinion on the ship and our cruise. As usual check in at Southampham was excellent. The ship was magnificent modern decor and spacious. Cabins were well laid out with a large wall mounted television. The bathroom had a large glass sided shower which was great. The balcony was a bit smaller than on other P&O ships but was perfectly adequate.

The staff without exception were polite and friendly. The food was excellent throughout the whole ship.

The absence of midship stairs was a bit strange at first but we soon got used to it,and the lifts were a little bit erratic at times but I am sure that will get sorted in time.
