This was my 5th Disney Cruise. It was as wonderful as the other 4 were. The food was very good. We ate at Parrot Cay the first night for dinner (late seating). Actually, although this is the most casual restaurant of the 3 main dining rooms, I personally enjoy the cuisine here the best.
Day 2 - Nassau: The weather was beautiful, hot and sunny. We opted to stay on the boat while others were off exploring Nassau. We were able to fully enjoy the adult only "Quiet Cove Pool". It was a very relaxing day. Dinner this evening was at Triton's. My least favorite restaurant on board. It is primarily a French Cuisine.
Day 3 - Castaway Cay -- Disney's private island. Another beautiful morning. Hot and Sunny again. We left the ship early (8:30) and went off to find a great spot on the beach. We rented tubes ($6 each for the entire day) and floated in the perfect water. We enjoyed the BBQ lunch at Cookies BBQ. After lunch we rented some "Fun Cats" -- which seemed to be a new addition to the boat rentals. They were basically oversized lounge chairs with battery operated propellers. Lots of fun, $20 for a half hour. Dinner the 3rd evening: Animators Palate. Beautiful restaurant where the artwork goes from black & white to color. Food was very good here.
