My husband & I sailed the Caribbean Princess April 22-29th and had a fabulous time! We are in our early 30's and this was our 9th cruise. We had a 7 am flight out of Detroit on Spirit. We did experience a little delay due to an air conditioning malfunction but only arrived a few minutes late. We waited at least 30 minutes for our luggage and then we were off to find a taxi. The ride to the port was quick and easy, make sure you have your ID with you (not in the trunk) as you will need for the quick stop at the Port Authority booth.

We arrived at the CB about 11 am and we were given #5 and then let into a waiting area. They opened the doors to check in about 11:50 am and we were in our cabin by 12:15. We have sailed NCL, RCCL, Princess and Carnival and this was the fastest embarkation we have ever experienced!

Once aboard we dropped off our bags and went to change our spa service, make reservations for the speciality restaurants and also check out the ship. Remember to make your speciality restaurant reservations A.S.A.P. We were only on about 30-45 minutes before we made our reservations and it was already full on a couple nights. We grabbed a burger and a drink and waited for the sail away party. Remember to stay on the Port side for sail away as the condos give you a great Bon Voyage!! We went back to the room and discovered our Just because of you order had arrived and it was adorable! They did a great job packaging the wine & liquor in a discrete way.
