We used cruise connection from Tampa to Ft Lauderdale and Heidi our driver was excellent. We arrive at pier @ 11:30 and boarding started promptly at noon. Embarkation was smooth and took about 15 minutes after line started moving. This is the largest ship we have been on and the third (of 14) cruise with Princess. This ship is clean and reasonably laid out. food was very good and best prim rib was the best we have had in awhile. The horizon food court food was fair and poorly laid out. The choices available are not up to the industry standards in this area. The movies under the stars were good and there were some in room movies were good however the is no schedule of when and what they were. The in room entertainment is 5 years behind the industry and there is no interactive features for the television like RCCL has. We booked a tour with no rush tours in St, Marteen and it exceeded our expectations. In St Thomas we took the Princess excursion to Coral world and were involved in a serious accident in which 9 of us suffered minor physical injuries and were disappointed in how this was handled by Princess. See separate post under the Princess Board. We did not even go ashore on Princess Cay since due to recovering from our injuries. The show were good however the main theater was too small to sit the people wanting to see the early show. Other Princess cruises gave tickets at dinner for the shows and there was no over crowding. The service in the restaurant was very good (assigned early seating) and the cabin service was as expected with nothing extra. Overall a good value but not up to the standards of other cruise lines including Carnival.
