This was our 7th cruise, 2nd with our children, and 1st on Norwegian Cruise Line.

We drove from NY to Miami and arrived at the Port of Miami on Saturday around 11am. We parked at the pier, and although the cost was $20 a day, we felt very safe leaving the car here in the parking garage, and it was across the street from the terminal, so to us it was very worth it. The Porters were at the exit to the parking garage to gather our luggage for us and bring it on to the boat (don't forget to tip these guys!) Embarkation was quick and easy (aside from the check in person, who was new and needed a little assistance). We were on the ship by 11:30. Super easy!!

We were greeted by the cruise staff, and my kids were given a handful of candy and directions on how to sign up for the Splash Academy. After a brief consult with guest services to have our Freestyle Cards corrected (Beverage Package was included but stickers were not on the cards) we were free to go to our room....the bars were open, and vacation had begun!

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B3

The staterooms are small, but having two was great for our family of 5. The balconies are small but we opened up the divider and that worked for us. Not a ton of storage in the rooms, a small closet half of it with shelves, a few cabinets and storage under the sofa (two trundle drawers) and of course under the bed. Use any card for the cabin power slot (we just kept it in all the time so we had power to the outlets..cabin steward was fine with that)
