My first cruise with my husband and daughter. We traveled with another family from CT to Ft. Lauderdale the night before the cruise (I recommend this if you have to fly). Boarding the ship was a breeze and we couldn't wait to get our vacation started. Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Our room was small for 3 people but worked. Husband used upper closet shelf for his clothes and my daughter and I hung some items in the closet and kept the rest of clothes in luggage under the beds. Worked out well and kept room neat. Bathroom was good size and the shower was spacious (i'm a big girl). Only in room to shower and sleep.

The ship itself was gorgeous and the food was fantastic. My daughter and friend loved Splash Academy (ages 12) after giving it a try. Plenty for kids to do and parents can relax. Taking another cruise with NCL on the Escape in April 2016. This time booked a balcony room (awesome deal is running as of 2/23/15 - FREE food or beverage upgrade AND family FREE - can't pass it up)
