We almost didn't book this cruise due to the poor reviews after the Xmas and New Year cruises. As we could only travel for a week in half term and there wasn't anything else that suited my elderly mother we went ahead and booked it. We did not experience any problems on the Majesty. We have cruised before with P&O, Cunard, Royal Caribbean and Thomson. Whilst the ships with other cruise operators are newer the overall cruise experience is similar. The entertainment on this ship was excellent and the food was better than we had on Royal Caribbean. Thomson seem to have cut back on the choices offered at meal times but the food was hot and tasty. The staff on the ship are very good. We found the ship to be clean although there was a smell in the corridor outside my mothers cabin on the eight floor for one day. We would definitely book another cruise with this company.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside Plus

This is an inside plus cabin that was clean and comfortable. When we arrived the previous occupant had turned the heating on full and closed the door on the safe. This was quickly sorted out and we had no further problems.
