We had been on the Celebration 6 mths earlier and we loved it, so we were looking forward to the same. Well that is not what we experienced. As i am disabled I need an adapted cabin in order to be comfortable and have space to store my scooter which of course we have explained beforehand when booking.
On this occasion i was unable to take my scooter as they only take two and they already had the quota so I had to use my manual wheelchair, well this was just as well as the cabin was tiny. The actual floor space visible was about 6ft x 5ft apart from the small passageway to get in. The bathroom was very big and was a wet room which of course wheelchair bound people would be very grateful for but as I am not wheelchair bound it served a purpose as parking space for my wheelchair. I noticed that people who did have a scooter had to break it down and store it in the space where the lifts are. I did not expect the Royal Albert Hall but after the Celebration it was so disappointing.
The ship is a bit old as well but we enjoyed our week apart from 2 full days I was in bed ill and it was only on the last two days that we saw parts of the ship being fumigated which perhaps it explained why I was ill. We are back on the Celebration next and then in Oct we are on the Dream which we have never been on so I will let you know what the result is as a disabled person. The rest of the ship was okay.
Very small for people with wheelchairs or scooters
