While the employees were courteous and friendly and the ship seemed to appear remodeled, it was not the best . The rooms were smaller, we had a "oceanview" however, the windows had caulking that a ten year old could have done a better job, we were over apparently the engine room and also a part of the kitchen. It is nothing like waking up in the morning to the smell of garlic cooking, and other odors. Also everytime they started the engine, it was like th whole room shook. For this experience we paid over $1900.00 .The room we were in would have a cracking sound and other movement sounds. The shower was sufficent, however, everytime we took a shower we had to keep towels on the floor as the water always went in the opposite direction of the drain. The employee who took care of our room, was very friendly ,always asking if we needed anything, and our room was immaculate. She was the greatest. The food and dining areas were nice, and since we had a late dining time, we had no problems with the seating. Our waiters were very attentive and entertaining. Very friendly and personal.
If Carnival intends to remodel another ship, I hope they do a better job the next time. I will stick to the newer
ships or one of the ones I have previoulsy been on. NO MORE REMODELED SHIPS FOR ME!
The cabin was small, not near as large as the last one we had. The arrangement of the room was not appropiate , not enough storage area. WIndows dirty could not see out. The room was clean and functional and would have been perfect for 1 person, too small for 2 people. When using the shower, the water ran in the opposite direction. We had to use towels to soak up the water.
