Sail Date: Nov 2013

After hearing a lot of hype about the Jewel, the husband and I were excited to cruise on this ship. We are by no means cruise veterans. we have however been on 3 cruises prior to the Jewel sailing.

Ship and Activities:

It is possible that we didn't care for the ship because we are "young" in comparison to most of the people we find ourselves aboard with. The ship was much smaller than I expected firstly. No promenade area at all and the shopping area is equally as unimpressive. Activities on board were drab, we did enjoy the guest performers (there were two of them). Otherwise, we were not excited with the choices of entertainment.

Cabin Review

my upgraded cabin was old and outdated... 1990 called and asked for their TV back and our fridge didn't work either.
