NCL really seems to consider its clients on its ships. The Epic is unique from other ships in many ways. Very well planned and easy to get around. Even though there are only two banks of elevators on such a large vessel, we mastered the ship in a day or two and we were exactly mid way between both banks.

The variety and quality of entertainment is the best we've experienced and all venues large and well designed. To assure seats for the main shows, you will need to reserve your seat at the box office. We saw the Blue Man show (twice), Cirque dinner show, Comedy show, Second City show, Blues band in Fat Cats, Blue Man interview, Legends show, Deal or no Deal show and watched a movie on the huge TV screen in the Atrium. Great quality entertainment.

Two pool areas. Main pool very hectic and is where families with kids hang out. Quiet pool at back of ship has tiered seating, a small pool and two hot tubs and is for adults only.

Cabin Review

Even though by mid way into the cruise we did get used to our cabin, we weren't real crazy about the wave configuration. The walking space between the bed and the cabinets was so tight, we had to shuffle sideways past the bed and both of us could not be in this space at the same time. Also, while sitting on the sofa, you were looking at a wall of storage cabinets two feet from the sofa. I understand the logic of separate bathroom spaces, but it seems to cheapen the area and the sink in the room makes no sense and is too small. The positives are that the bed is wonderfully comfortable, the storage space is the best we've experienced, love the sliding balcony door and balcony size.
