Ship Facts: Carnival Conquest Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Conquest Deck Plans
Carnival Conquest - Western Caribbean
We were first time cruisers and over all enjoyed our trip.

We were impressed by the size of the stateroom and enjoyed the balcony. We sat on the balcony every night. We do not know who cleaned the room as he/she never introduced to us but the stateroom was cleaned in a timely fashion. The towel animals were fun to see each night.

The public areas were crowded at times and that was a disappointment to us. It was common to find a glass or two and beer bottles in the morning from who had parties the night before.

The food was excellent. We had a late sitting and because of that did not have to worry about eating within a certain time period. We tried the Point for an extra $30 a person and it was wonderful. We only had one pizza and it was fine. I kept looking for the sushi bar but only found it open once.

Staff were friendly but not as attentive as I had heard they were.

The disembarkment was muddled and poorly run, what could have been a quick and painless operation took a few hours with confusion. Embarkment was fine but only because we are not Americans and were put into a different line with only 3 other couples.

If you are looking for a cruise that is full of fun and games this is the one for you, if you want to lay back and relax you may want to look elsewhere.
