This is my fifth cruise and the fourth on Carnival. The Victory was fantastic. I was really worried after reading reviews about the weather in Canada but it ended up being a great trip. Getting on the ship in New York was so easy. We arrived around 12:30pm and there were only a few people in line. We were on the ship within thirty minutes from start to finish.

Our room was up on the spa deck and it was very large. We had two adults and two children in each room. There was plenty of space and a window that went from the top to the bottom of our room to look out. The Lido deck was open and there were people already swimming and having a great time.

When we took off we saw the New York skyline and Empire State directly behind us which was just beautiful. To top it off we went directly in front of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. The ride out was pretty rough but by morning it was smooth sailing.
