Royal Caribbean - Rhapsody of the Seas (4 stars out of 5)

We had our maiden voyage (first-time cruisers) on the Rhapsody of the Seas Aug. 3-10, 2003. The ship left Galveston for Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Total of three at-sea days, not including Day 3, in which we sailed until arriving at Key West at 3 pm. There were three in our party: myself (42), my wife (41), and our daughter (17). We splurged and stayed in a Category C suite, No. 8048.

I've rated each category on a 5 star rating system, with 5 being best. Overall, I'd give this cruise 4 stars, though I was tempted to give it 4 1/2. But I didn't, because I recognize that there are more upscale liners out there, and no matter how great the experience, there's always a little room for improvement. Read more
