Tropical depression Grace gave us quite a bit of rain as we pulled into Galveston. Great!!! Our first cruise and we are starting out in the rain!!!

We left Galveston a bit late, as their return early Sunday morning was delayed a bit by the harsh weather. Once we sailed out of the harbor the skies turned blue and the rain and clouds never came back. The weather was phenomenal the entire trip. Moon on the water at night was so romantic and beautiful.

I am not going to make this a long review, nor give too much detail because I only have one word...WOW. We had a lovely time. Weather was great, ports were very diverse, food was great, crew was wonderful...treated you like royalty. The entertainment in the Broadway theatre was top notch. I especially loved the servers singing in the Edelweiss dining room in the evenings to entertain us. "Deep in the Heart of Texas" performed by 50+ different nationality's was a hoot. We are already planning our next cruise for the spring, and will definitely go on the Rhapsody. We did two excursions not affiliated with RCI and they were fantastic; Captain Marvin's in Cayman, and Eagleray in Cozumel. We had so much fun snorkeling, Captain Marvin's was 8 people from Rhapsody with Marshal and Leroy our guides; we saw a sand shark and a moray eel. Most fun, was petting Emily the Stingray, who has a fondness for our guide Marshall. Eagleray was just 4 people and a guide...very personal service, Raoul would tell us about a fish he had spotted and then dive down pointing it out to us, so we wouldn't miss it.
