Sail Date: Oct 2012

We sailed on the Glory from 10/14 - 10/20/12. We just completed our 16th Carnival cruise (we have completed 10 Royal Caribbean cruises as well)

Our daughter dropped us off at the Port of Norfolk. Couldn't have been easier since we live in VA Beach! Embarkation was fast and easy considering we have priority boarding!!! Debarkation was a breeze as well. We did self-assist and were off the ship by 7:30am the latest and home by 8:00am!!

The ship is gorgeous! We love the layout of the interior as well as the outside decks, etc. I don't have a single complaint except that Carnival and other lines need to sail from NORFOLK year round. Our ship was full. The guests were super friendly and seem to have a wonderful time! We have never, and I truly mean never experienced such a genuine and happy crew. This was noticeable every single day. Even Aiden a Customer Service Rep recognized me and called me by name. He was super helpful and had an adorable smile!! Our steward and assistant couldn't have been more friendly or caring!!!! The Cruise Director Matt was also one of the best Cruise Directors we have ever had. Our waiter and his assistant in the Golden dining room was professional and friendly at the same time! Food was delicious and lots of variety. The warm chocolate melting cake is not to be missed.......along with many, many other wonderful entrees, etc.

Cabin Review

Cabin #7207 - fantastic steward and assistant. Plenty of storage space. For us the cabin was to forward on the ship and we felt the motion which we normall don't. If motion isn't an issue, this is a great cabin.
