Just returned from our first cruise ever. We are early 50s and took our 16 year old son. This ship and its staff exceeded our expectations. This was the most relaxing vacation I have ever been on in my life! The staff, particularly our room steward, William and our waitstaff in the restaurant Dorin and Jorges were outstanding. I felt just like those commercials that celebrity runs..."I am used to having my tea at 4..". That's really how it was. We could do as little or as much as we wanted to...food excellent.

Our weather was not the best, but it didn't matter. The only drawbacks I saw were people hogging lounges by the pool and the expense of some of the excursions that we now know we can do on our own. Unless it's a specialized trip or some place far away, I would not recommend them. They were okay...though the parasailing was great!

Don't miss the Olympic Restaurant or the spa! Our son had a wonderful time as well....a great bonding experience...how can you squabble when you are so relaxed??? Highly recommend...we have already booked our next one.
